Hirers may make a number of booking requests so despite you approving the booking they may decide to opt for another RV, or they’ve simply changed their minds. We suggest you get in touch on the messaging platform once you’ve approved the booking to let them know it’s been done. If you haven’t heard back after 24 hours, drop the hirer a line as a gentle reminder that the booking has been approved and let them know if you haven’t heard back within 24 hours you will cancel the booking request.
It is important to note that once you approve a booking the dates are blocked out on your calendar so it is important to cancel an approved booking if you haven’t heard back after 48 hours (or agreed to a longer timeframe for payment with the hirer).
The more you communicate with hirers the greater chance you have of securing a booking. Speedy responses are key.
