If you are using Camplify insurance, you must notify us immediately so that we can let our insurance provider know. Failure to do so may limit your insurance coverage. Please note, there is no extra cost and hirers aren’t subject to a higher excess.

The hirer will require a Green Card which our insurer will be able to provide. To obtain the Green Card, we will need the following information:

  • Full names of all drivers
  • Dates of travel
  • Vehicle Registration number
  • Make and model of the van

You must also provide your hirer with a VE103 (Vehicle on hire) certificate. Click here for more info. The van will also need a UK sticker.

*Please note, From 28 September 2021, you need a UK sticker instead of a GB sticker.

The Department for Transport guidelines state that you will need to display a UK sticker clearly on the rear of your vehicle if your number plate has any of the following:

  • a GB identifier with the Union flag
  • a Euro symbol
  • a national flag of England, Scotland or Wales
  • numbers and letters only – no flag or identifier

However, if your number plate already includes a UK identifier with the Union flag - also known as the Union Jack - you do not need to add a sticker when travelling in most EU countries.

If you’re in Spain, Cyprus or Malta, you must display a UK sticker no matter what is on your number plate.

Please refer to the DVLA website for full details:

Finally, as safety is of great concern for us here at Camplify, we also strongly suggest having additional safety equipment available in the van if allowing it to go to Europe, including a reflective safety vest and an emergency reflective war triangle sign on top of the normal fire extinguishers, fire blankets, smoke, and CO2 sensors.
