It is free and easy to add an additional driver to your Camplify booking. In order to do this, we will need to check the additional driver’s driving licence entitlement (supplied by the additional driver to us in the form of a DVLA code). This is to ensure the additional driver is fully covered by our damage protection cover policy. Please remember, Camplify only accepts driving licences from the UK, EU, EEA, Australia, and New Zealand. Drivers holding an international driving licence must provide additional details, please click here for more details.

The additional driver must complete the following steps:

Step1

Create a Camplify account and complete all required fields.

Step 2

Check the driving licence entitlement details for compliance with our insurance policy. To do this you will need the following information:

• Driving Licence number
• National Insurance number
• Post Code

Step 3

Go to your www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/licence-number and

enter your details as prompted. Select ‘Share your licence information', followed by 'View, print or save your licence information', and then 'print' and 'save as pdf' the licence summary.

Step 4

Send an email to support@camplify.co.uk supplying your DVLA licence summary pdf. The email needs to be sent from the same email address you used to sign up to Camplify and you should quote the Booking ID.

All driving licence information supplied by the DVLA and .gov website, as well as the proof of address is held privately by Camplify and will not be shared with hirers.  

Step 5

Make sure you bring your drivers licence when collecting the RV. The owner will take a picture of it and include the details in the Pre-hire checklist.
